The club is in the middle of cleaning up our locker list
by Staff
Roi Namur, Kwajalein Atoll, RMI - (26 Apr 07)
The club is in the middle of cleaning up our locker list. Presently, our list says that there is one open large locker, two large lockers available that have locks on them and 3 small lockers that have locks on them but the occupants are not registered with the clubs records.
In an effort to clarify this issue, Gene Littlefield has spoken to a few members and straightened out a couple of things and I have recently spoken to a couple of members about this also.
Attached, is the list that we are currently working with. I already know that this list is inaccurate, but it is a good place to start. Each member should make and effort to verify their locker number and pass it along back to me via responding to this e-mail or coming to the May meeting and telling us what your locker numkber is.
After the May meeting, Neil Schwanitz is going to use a labeling machine and we are going to put names on the lockers. Right now it appears we are at the point where there are more residents requiring large lockers than we have large lockers available. At this point, our constitution and by-laws provide for moving club members that reside on Kwaj out of the large lockers into the small lockers in the tank house. If we have to do this, we will but not until we verify who is occupying what locker.
Please make an effort to verify you locker number prior to or during the May meeting, afterwards we will use boltcutters to open the lockers and identify who is using that locker or if the locker is empty but still has the old members lock on it.
This is your club, help us run it efficiently,
Greg Howson
